How lovely!
Anyway, that has nothing to do with my post for tonight.
I’ve been thinking.
There have been so many suicides recently from young GLBT men recently. I can’t explain how many times it has crossed my mind. Really, times can be horrible. I’ve been there. I’ve seen it.
It’s really terrible. We need to work together to get rid of this terrible situation. Something has to be done. These kids need to know that there are places they can turn; that people care.
Please, prove that there is hope; Don’t be the reason for another one.
All I ask is that you mind what you say. Don’t give in to society. It’s not cool to refer to something as “gay” as a term for stupid. Calling someone a faggot does not make you look tough. You never know what is going on with that person; what it may trigger.
Reach out a hand. That’s all that may be needed to show that not everyone is like their tormentors.
Please, prove to these boys’ families that their sons’ deaths have not gone unnoticed.

They tell us that suicide is the greatest piece of cowardice… that suicide is wrong; when it is quite obvious thatthere is nothing in the world to which every man has a more unassailable title than to his own life and person.
